 Hello good morning ladies and gentlemen,

First of all, I would like to say thank you to the God because without His blessing, it’s impossible for us to be here to participate in this speech contest and it is a great pleasure for me that I can stand here to deliver my speech. My name is Agus Padma. Today I would like to tell you about “Learning English Is So Important For Our Life“.

Ladies and gentlemen,

            As we know, English is the most language that used entire of the world and it is an International language. English is also the only one of lingua franca who used by the people from different nation.

Ladies and gentlemen,

            Do you know? Why learning English is very important? English gives many benefits for todays and future’s life. In the education and working world, English is needed very much because the tourism in our country has been good and advanced. So many job for the society in the sector of tourism and the skill of speaking English is needed so much. Beside that, the existence of free trading that make us have to compete harder in finding job. Foreign businesses are many more existing so the employing of International language as English has been spreading. Because that we are as a student that sure still have many times to learn English and all of us are very lucky because we still have many times to study. Let’s we use as good as this time and study from now in order we can mastery English to the better future. Try to think how if we can mastery English very good, we will be easy in doing what we want to do, like finding job, doing communication with foreign tourist, and the others.

Ladies and gentlemen,

Good learn is study serious but relaxed. For example we can learn while listening to music, eating food like peanuts and hamburger, learn while watching television, and so on.  Let’s we learn English together to supply our self and also in order our nation can become better. We have to study English hard, but don’t ever forget our mother tongue, that is Indonesian. Remember these words! Push yourself to study because no one else can do it for you, all the studying you are doing will be worth it in the end! And if you focus on the results, you will never change. If you focus on the chance, you will get the results!

            That is all my speech. So use as good as this time to study. Don’t be like a person that repent, like an aphorism that say “rice has become porridge”.
